Additionally, Gather RI’s Changemakers Club will connect the women and gender expansive people who are creating Rhode Island’s future, and provide them with a safe, accessible haven to meet in.
Gather RI is a not-for-profit. Its headquarters in Providence will open in 2025.
Battling erasure and providing role models: Whether you dream of being an activist or a zoologist, Gather RI’s Biographical Library is collecting more than 2,000 biographies about women and gender expansive people from around the world to inspire you.
Plus we’re also launching a portrait gallery!
Gather RI has announced a Call for Artists to create original works for its Portrait Gallery’s launch show, ‘Founders & Inventors: Women Who Created Our World’.
The Dirt Palace has been enlisted to manage the submission and selection process. Artist proposals are due by April 25, 2024. Click here for more info and the submission form.
